When I was twenty-four years old, my mother died.
At the same time, my father and my sister were struggling with alcoholism.
I felt completely alone.
I believed that if I loved them enough, helped them enough, sacrificed enough, I could save them.
Instead, I was losing myself.
For years, I lived with guilt, fear, and an overwhelming sense of responsibility for everyone else's happiness.
No matter how hard I tried, nothing seemed to change.
And I slowly began to believe that perhaps I wasn't enough.
One day, exhausted and desperate, I finally asked for help.
I joined a support group for families affected by alcoholism.
The people I met there weren't psychologists or therapists.
They were ordinary people who had experienced extraordinary pain.
For the first time in my life, I felt truly heard.
Then someone shared a simple truth that completely changed the way I saw my life.
We cannot change other people.
We cannot control everything that happens to us.
But we can always choose who we become because of it.
Those words became the turning point of my life.

Little by little, I stopped trying to rescue everyone else.
I stopped waiting for people to change before allowing myself to be happy.
Instead, I began changing the only person I truly could.
Myself.
That decision transformed every area of my life.
Not overnight.
Not without setbacks.
But one choice at a time.
I discovered confidence.
Peace.
Freedom.
Most importantly, I discovered who I really was beneath the fear and the need for approval.

Today, I guide women who have spent years putting everyone else first.
Women who appear strong on the outside but feel lost on the inside.
Women who are tired of carrying guilt that doesn't belong to them.
Women who long for a life that finally feels authentic.
I don't believe in fixing people.
Because I believe the woman you're looking for is already within you.
Sometimes you simply need someone to walk beside you, ask the right questions, challenge the beliefs that keep you stuck, and remind you of the woman you've always been.
That is the work we do together.
The woman I am today isn't someone different.
She is the woman I buried beneath years of fear, guilt and trying to save everyone else.
I didn't become someone new.
I finally came home to myself.
Freedom is not the absence of responsibility.
Confidence is built through our choices.
Authenticity is remembering who you truly are.
These principles guide my life.
And my coaching.

Her confidence in me became the confidence I had been missing for years. Tanya has a rare gift: she helps you see possibilities where you only saw limitations.

What impressed me most was not that Tanya gave me advice, but that she asked the right questions. She helped me see myself with new eyes and recognise a strength I had forgotten I possessed. That awareness has changed every area of my life.
Coaching is only one way I serve women.
Then...
My book.
My writing.
My weekly letters.
They all have the same purpose.
If you've read this far, perhaps a part of you already knows it's time..
Maybe this is the moment you stop waiting.
The moment you stop doubting yourself.
The moment you finally choose you.
I would be honored to walk beside you.
